Assisting clients get the right option for the borrowing they need i.e. New Home, Refinance, Car Loan etc.

November 2017. Also worked here in 2007 for 3 years.

What is your favourite part about working for Zobel?
Team environment. Helping people achieve their financial goals. The reaction people have when you let them know their loan is approved.

What is your greatest strength?
Not sure, some would say none !!

Who is the funniest team member at Zobel Finance Centre and why?
Lola – doesn’t change her expression and never blinks.

What is your favourite sport and who is your favourite professional sports team?
AFL. I have many favourite sporting teams – St Kilda, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Liverpool, LA Lakers and the Denver Broncos.

Do you have a favourite professional athlete/actor/celebrity and why are they your favourite?
Have a few – Shane Warne, Nick Riewoldt, Kobe Bryant, Mick Fanning. Professionals, quality performers. Also love Mick Thomas, singer/songwriter.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Family time, Camping, Surfing, Cycling, keeping fit. Watching sports on TV.

Favourite sport is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Grappling/MMA and favourite sports team would have to be Adelaide Crows I guess.

Do you have a favourite professional athlete/actor/celebrity and why are they your favourite?

Matthew McConaughey. Great actor, great movies and just a cool guy.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, walking/running dogs, fishing, watching movies.

Aidan Schultz

Aidan has been in the industry for a number of years. Having gained an extensive knowledge through roles within both finance and insurance, he has taken the step to complete his Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management in 2023 to become a finance broker. He is passionate about assisting clients to achieve their life goals through obtaining finance.

What tasks does your job at Zobel include?
Liaising between clients, broker and the financial institutions to achieve a positive outcome for our clients.

When did you start at Zobel? 
September 2002.

What is your favourite part about working for Zobel?
Staff, the “we are family” concept and flexibility within our group.  Great bunch of people to work for/with.

What is your greatest strength?
Ability to laugh at myself.

Who is the funniest team member at Zobel Finance Centre and why?
Mmm, not sure, think everyone has had their moment of “fame”

What is your favourite sport and who is your favourite professional sports team?
Watching tennis I guess is my favourite sport to watch.

Do you have a favourite professional athlete/actor/celebrity and why are they your favourite?
Billy Connolly and Anh Do – both have had to overcome adversity and hardships and they haven’t let their background impact on their personalities – if anything made them stronger.  No “woe is me” mentality but faced the world and went on to make a great life for themselves.  Billy Connolly even now talking about Parkinsons and it’s impact.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with my grandchildren, family and eating.

Loan administration, pre and post settlement customer care.

May 2005.

What is your favourite part about working for Zobel?
The Zobel Team, not just in Mount Gambier but all the offices. We are all good at what we do here at Zobel with a focus of getting the right outcome for our clients.

What is your greatest strength?
Work Strength, probably knowing a bit about everything we do at Zobel, not just my own role.

Who is the funniest team member at Zobel Finance Centre and why?
Simon V, he is just funny when he is not trying to be funny. Talking to him always brings a 😊 to my face.

What is your favourite sport and who is your favourite professional sports team?
Favourite sport to watch is the tennis especially the Australian Open. I also follow the AFL, Richmond Tigers.

Do you have a favourite professional athlete/actor/celebrity and why are they your favourite?
Dusty Martin, cos he is hot… am I allowed to say that? John Travolta, just such a versatile actor/dancer/singer.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Free time, what’s that!! I do however make time for exercise whether that be walking, bike ride or going to the gym. I also enjoy watching my children play their sports. Weekend Movie Night at home with the kids when we have free weekend.
